This blue sodalite skull has lots of nice dark shimmery patches. One side is a bit dark, the other side is lighter with some interesting color patterns. It has some superficial fissures that are caused by the inner structure of the rough stone. But the surface is very smooth and there is no risk of cracking more. This skull was carved from Brazilian sodalite by a talented local carver that lives a couple of hours away from us.
The size of this sodalite skull is 12.5 x 8.5 x 10 cm and it weighs 1258 grams.
